You've done the wrong thing, you've tried to cover it up and you've denied your involvement, but now everyone knows that it was you. You move to Step Three in your Get-Me-Out-Of-Trouble plan. You attempt to shift the blame.
"It wasn't my fault!" you cry. "She made me do it! My sister - it's her fault! She got the crayon. She put it in my hand! She told me to draw! I didn't have any paper so I had to draw on the walls! Don't blame me - blame her!"
Unfortunately, mum doesn't buy it. She says that it's your fault and that you will have to face the consequences of what you've done.
